Area Search

Live Find

Live Find Area Search Dogs find people who wander off and get lost in the woods mostly. They use their nose to pick up the lost person's scent in the air and follow it until they reach the person. Unlike trailing dogs, they do not have to follow a track, they are trained to go straight to the source of odor. Some Live Find Area Search dogs work in urban areas and disaster settings.

Eddie is an Australian shepherd from Czech Republic where he started Search & Rescue training under IRO (International Search and Rescue Dog Organization) and passed entry exams for field and disaster. Eddie moved to North Carolina and continues with Life Find Area training.

Swift is a Hungarian Mudi from here in North Carolina. She loves her crazy tug and chicken.
