Our Dogs
What does it take to be a search dog?
Typically search dogs are of medium to large size dogs such as Border Collies, Labs, German Shepherds, as well as Bloodhounds. These dogs typically do well in Search and Rescue but even a purebred dog has to have the right stuff and as you can see from our group of dogs breed is not as important as ability. Most of our dogs are high drive dogs that really need a job. They are hard to live with as a family pet as they always want to do something.
